2das Jornadas de Literatura y Medios Audiovisuales UNSAM

The UNSAM (Universidad Nacional General San Martín) and the ISP Lenguas Vivas "Juan R. Fernández" organized the 2nd Convention on Literature and Media in September.

This was a unique opportunity to attend presentations by amazing lecturers from the ELT world, such as Claudia Ferradas, Griselda Beacon, Daniel Ferreyra and  Florencia Perduca. The convention also featured presentations from Literature experts from all around the country.

I was very honoured to take part in this event and share it with such an important group of educators! You are welcome to have a look at my presentation on The Hero's Journey below (unfortunately Slideshare does not support the font and animation I chose but you can still enjoy the content).

34th ELT Blog Carnival: Pronunciation

This year I was honoured to participate in the 34th ELT Blog Carnival kindly curated by Carissa Peck (@eslcarissa) in August. This edition's topic was Pronunciation

Carissa put together a great number of amazing posts and resources from bloggers and writers from the ESL world in her own blog, mELTing activities.

You can have a look and take advantage of these super resources to teach and practice pronunciation here.

Thanks Carissa for your great job!

Punctuation power!

Just a nice collection of punctuation-related posters. Some are funny, some are sweet, all of them are great I think!

From Lynne Truss (2003) Eats, shoots and leaves

In Spanish, the presence of a graphic accent marks the difference
between "nothing" and the imperative form of "swim"
-What happens?
-Nothing (should be swim!)
- What?
- Nothing
- Idiot!

Always remember!
